I switched dental offices after relocating to Hershey, and unfortunately my experience here felt very impersonal. The office has more of a “corporate” or hotel-like atmosphere rather than a patient-focused one, and I often felt like the priority was upselling treatments. During my visit, they recommended a deep cleaning that my insurance did not cover. When I asked the hygienist why it was necessary — especially since no previous dentist had ever suggested one, even after long gaps between visits — she became defensive and repeatedly referred to her years of experience instead of clearly explaining the reasoning. I decided not to move forward with the treatment and later visited another dentist a few months afterward. That dentist never mentioned needing a deep cleaning at all, which reinforced my concerns about the recommendation I received here.

I recently had to have a more involved procedure performed and I cannot thank Dr DiNicola and his assistant Sabrina enough for shepherding me through. Their professionalism, patience and caring for my well being were exemplary. From the moment I was pleasantly greeted at the front desk, until I left, I did not feel like just another number. They have gained a patient for life, as I will be bringing friends and family to their location. Thank you again!

I have been going to Hershey Dental Associates since I moved to the area in 2012. It is by far the best dental practice I have ever visited. Brandi (my dental hygienist) is absolutely wonderful. She is an outstanding dental hygienist and an amazing person. Dr. Buehner (my dentist) is excellent! He is an extremely skilled in dentistry and treats his patient as if they were part of his family. His bedside manner and the way he practices medicine should be a role model for all practitioners!

If you are one of those people who dread going to the dentist, this is the practice for you!! I actually enjoy getting my teeth cleaned. Everyone is warm and welcoming. When I leave my teeth and gums feel great, never sore! I never feel as though I am being rushed out the door. They listen to any dental concerns you have and advise you accordingly. The exam room atmosphere is relaxing and you are made to feel comfortable. I was worried about having to find a new dentist when my husband & I moved just over two years ago, but fortunately our old dentist where we used to live suggested Dr. Ryan Buehner at Hershey Dental associates. Who by the way just happens to be Dr. Buehner's father. Thank goodness the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree!

Today I contacted Hershey Dental Associates because my 6 year old daughter was experiencing tooth pain. I did not wish to take her back to her previous dentist, where she had been seen only once, because the dentist was rude and the practice would not allow me to accompany my daughter to the treatment room. Dr. Buehner was highly recommended by a friend. I called and explained the problem and asked if they would see her and could they accept her insurance. The staff was friendly and managed to squeeze her in within the hour that I called even though she was a new patient. They confirmed that her insurance was accepted. I contacted my insurance company to double check. A complete battle with the insurance company followed during which I obnoxiously called Hershey Dental Associates several times. They stayed patient and friendly. When finally I lost the battle with the insurance company they still agreed to see my daughter FREE OF CHARGE! The appointment was professional and friendly. They took extra care with my daughter and were extremely friendly and accommodating. They encouraged her in a way a child in pain seeing a dentist needs. And they did all of this out of the good
